As a Senior Solutions Architect for the newly formed Geo team, you will play a leading role in significantly impacting the Enterprise Greenfield territory across accounts and industries in the region!  

You will use your technical expertise and work with a collaborative, customer-focused team that values innovation and creativity to create customized solutions to help demonstrate how our Data Intelligence Platform can help customers solve their complex data challenges to achieve their goals and guide their businesses forward.

The impact you will have: 

  • You will influence stakeholders at all levels through complex engagements with the wider cloud ecosystem and 3rd party applications, ensuring they are excited by the Databricks vision and solution strategy.
  • Be a 'champion' for both customers and colleagues, operating as an expert solution architect and trusted advisor for significant data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
  • Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use case prioritization and building technical champions.
  • Contribute to the development of industry-specific and technology-specific use cases, ROI models, and solution architectures as well as Databricks' technical community engagement by developing customer-facing collateral; leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.


What we look for:

  • 10+ years experience engaging in customer interactions for technical pre-sales and complex sales lifecycles.
  • Ability to provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs, navigate a competitive landscape and influence C-level executives by developing relationships and orchestrating teams to achieve long-term customer success.
  • Hands-on expertise with complex Big Data architecture design and public cloud platform(s) solutions.
  • Strong expertise in Data Warehousing and Data Engineering architecture and implementation.
  • Prior experience with coding in a core programming language (i.e., Python, Java, Scala) and high-level understanding of the Apache Spark™ framework architecture.
  • Experience managing and leading complex accounts, involving multi-threaded use cases 


Notes on mandatory requirements:

  • Location for the role will be in Paris (or within a commutable distance for hybrid schedule).
  • Flexibility to travel (up to 20-30% as required for customer meetings, events and trainings).
  • Business proficiency in both French and English required as a minimum. Additional languages (i.e. Spanish, Italian) would be advantageous for the role.
