PHP / Magento Developer - Coral Springs FL

Overview
We are seeking an IN-HOUSE (Coral Springs FL office) skilled PHP Developer with Magento experience to join our team. This is for a part-time job, or full time depending on the preferences of the applicant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in eCommerce development, particularly with the Magento platform. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality eCommerce solutions that enhance user experience and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain a Magento-based eCommerce website, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to implement user-friendly interfaces and seamless user experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices in PHP, HTML, and SASS.
• Conduct unit testing to ensure the reliability and functionality of applications.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance application capabilities.
• Manage database interactions using MySQL for efficient data handling.
• Participate in agile project management using tools like Trello to track progress and deliverables.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Proven knowledge of Magento Developer with a portfolio of projects.
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, SASS, and MySQL - front end development.
• Overall LAMP experience (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP a plus)
• GIT version control knowledge
• Experience with unit testing frameworks to ensure code quality.
• Knowledge of WordPress is a plus for potential integration projects.
• Understanding of data visualization techniques to present insights effectively.
• Familiarity with Angular or other JavaScript frameworks is advantageous for front-end development tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Join us as we build innovative eCommerce solutions that make a difference! This developer will be responsible for one specific Magento eCommerce website, however will have other developers available to support and assist him or her during the project life. This is for front end, CSS, plugin work, and not as much of back end and overall site/speed or optimization.

This is for an in-house position. Working remotely is not possible for this job.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
