Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend systems using Python and Django
- Build and expand a data processing and reporting platform for risk and audit data
- Integrate data from multiple systems using tools like Kafka, Apache NiFi, and Hadoop
- Work on large-scale data ingestion and transformation pipelines
- Enhance and scale the current infrastructure to meet evolving data needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and compliance
- Participate in coding, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of the platform
Must-Have Skills:
- 7+ years of hands-on development experience
- Proficiency in Python and Django framework
- Strong background with Kafka, Hadoop, and Apache NiFi
- Experience in data engineering, reporting, and ETL pipelines
- Banking or financial industry experience
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $65.00 - $69.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 per week
