Technical Recruiter - Computer Science and Engineering

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Contract Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our talent acquisition process, focusing on internal recruiting and relationship management. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to negotiate effectively while fostering positive employee relations. The Contract Recruiter will leverage their expertise to identify, attract, and hire top talent for various roles within the organization.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive research to identify potential candidates through various sourcing methods.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating hiring decisions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide strategic guidance throughout the recruitment process.
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems and tools such as Kronos for efficient candidate management.
  • Negotiate offers and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance employee relations and support retention initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates on recruitment progress and metrics to stakeholders.

Experience

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition or internal recruiting, with a strong understanding of the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability in relationship management, effectively communicating with candidates and hiring managers alike.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Familiarity with employee relations practices and principles.
  • Proficiency in utilizing recruitment tools and software; experience with Kronos is a plus.
  • Excellent research skills to identify suitable candidates across various platforms.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in recruiting Engineering and Business Analyst professionals in Japan.
  • Proven track record of successfully hiring top talent in the Japanese market.
  • Strong understanding of the engineering and business system job market in Japan.
  • Excellent sourcing and networking skills to identify and attract qualified candidates.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
  • Fluency in Japanese and English, both written and spoken.

Compensation:

  • This is a contract position with compensation based on successful hires.
