Your Mission:


As a
Sales Engineer, you'll be a critical bridge between our technology and our customers, driving enterprise deals and building lasting relationships. You'll:

  • Become a Trusted Advisor: Partner with our sales team to understand complex customer challenges and design tailored data solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Demonstrate Datameer's Value: Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to diverse audiences, from technical experts to C-level executives.
  • Lead Strategic Proof of Concepts (POCs): Guide customers through hands-on evaluations, showcasing the power of Datameer in real-world scenarios and proving its impact.
  • Drive Technical Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends, maintain deep expertise in modern data technologies, and contribute to the evolution of our platform.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product management, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to ensure seamless customer experiences and drive product innovation.
  • Navigate the Sales Cycle: Work both pre and post sales, ensuring client success.

What You Bring:

  • Technical Foundation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • Proven Experience: 5+ years in a Pre-Sales Engineering role with a track record of closing enterprise deals, and 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Software Engineer, Database Administrator, or Systems Administrator.
  • Deep Data Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in modern data engineering and analytics technologies, including:
    • Advanced SQL for Analytics
    • Programming: Python, Bash, Javascript
    • Cloud Data Platforms: Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery, Azure
    • Data Integration and BI/Reporting Tools: Tableau, PowerBI
  • Exceptional Communication: Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Grit and determination to overcome technical challenges and deliver successful outcomes.
  • Client-Centric Approach: Comfort and confidence in client-facing interactions, with a passion for building strong relationships.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish is required.
