Job Description

In this multifaceted role, you’ll gain valuable experience in sales, marketing, purchasing, and general operations while contributing to our team's success.

Responsibilities:

As a Homebuilding Intern, you will participate in hands-on training. You’ll have the chance to shadow experienced professionals and engage in various activities, including:

  • Sales & Customer Engagement: Learn the day-to-day responsibilities of a New Home Sales Consultant, including greeting and qualifying prospective home buyers, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Marketing Strategies: Assist in developing and implementing marketing initiatives to promote new home communities and enhance brand awareness.
  • Purchasing Insights: Gain exposure to the purchasing process, including vendor relations and inventory management, to understand how these elements contribute to our overall operations.
  • General Operations: Participate in team meetings and collaborative projects that highlight the interconnectedness of sales, marketing, and operations.

Qualifications

  • Must have housing available in the greater Tampa Bay/Sarasota area for the duration of the internship
  • Must be currently enrolled in a full-time college program for Marketing, Business, Real Estate or related field, with an interest in learning about the Residential Construction industry. Applicants not currently enrolled in a college or university will not be considered.
  • Able to work up to 40 hours per week
  • Driven to excel and learn across multiple business functions
  • Enjoy tackling new challenges in a dynamic environment
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for relationship-building
  • Strong focus on customer service and communication skills
