Project Coordinator (Administrative)- Tampa

David Weekley Homes is seeking an enthusiastic Project Coordinator to support our Tampa-area team. The successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic, great communication skills, and the ability to successfully juggle multiple priorities. Experience in residential home building is highly preferred, and experience with permitting process is a plus!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process sales contracts
  • Manage/apply for various permits
  • Facilitate the proper hiring process
  • Coordinate meetings and team events
  • Maintain accurate electronic files for each home
  • Process new sales,changes and post-closing items in a timely manner
  • Prepare reports
  • Pay invoices and utility bills
  • Create closing packages for all new home buyers
  • Monitor overhead expenses for the project
  • Coordinate meetings and team events
  • Order supplies
  • Other support as needed

Job Requirements:

  • Previous construction and/or home building experience is beneficial
  • Experience with permitting process a plus
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as a member of a dynamic team
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong follow-up and organization
  • High attention to detail and ability to deal effectively with numerous interruptions
  • Drive to get results from vendors, subcontractors, and management
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook with exposure to JD Edwards beneficial
