About You

You’re a dependable self-starter who will perform non-technical light maintenance, housekeeping, occupancy and custodial duties.

The Day Porter role will be based in Phoenix, AZ

In this role, you will…

• You effectively assist the Maintenance staff, Engineer and company vendors as needed
• Successfully observes appearances and conditions of premises and equipment – promptly reporting all that requires repair
• Effectively reporting all safety hazards or conditions requiring outside vendor services
• Ensuring the property maintains exceptional curb appeal by keeping the grounds and buildings clean and properly maintained
• Pick up trash and debris (including in landscape areas and parking lot islands)
• Empty trash Cans (remove and dispose of all bags and replace with new bags)
• Clean trash can lid(s)
• Blow off all sidewalks
• NOTE: company will provide a gas blower
• Sweep out trash enclosures
• Remove unauthorized signs from property
• Clean ash trays
• Report issues on property (take pictures of large items to be hauled off, graffiti, leaks, trespassing or any unusual issues on property and send to manager)
• Submit daily your total hours in Paycom (payroll app

What You’ll Bring

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 – 2 years’ experience
• Effective communication skills
• Porter/ groundskeepers must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be reliable and able to work independently
• Comfortable working primarily outside in all weather conditions

Bonus skills and experience

• Working knowledge of work order and preventative maintenance software systems (CMMS)
