Job Description

Location: Onsite in Hazleton PA.

DCS (DeAngelo Contracting Services) is looking for an outgoing and energetic team player to join our team. He/ She will support the marketing team with planning, executing, and tracking marketing programs. This person will also aid in the development of new marketing strategies as well as handle event coordination.

A Marketing Assistant must be well organized and proficient in graphic design. Communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are key to this role. Bring your enthusiasm and your passion for marketing and join our team today!

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Marketing Team with planning, implementing, and monitoring the marketing campaigns.
  • Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, typography, and style and then submitting them for approval.
  • Creating and managing the production of marketing collateral with design software, such as Adobe Creative Cloud, for overall marketing efforts.
  • Writing and editing content for different platforms such as social media, websites, press releases, and newsletters.
  • Providing project-specific administrative support for a variety of content management software.
  • Plan events with attention to financial and time constraints
  • Research vendors (catering, decorators, musicians etc.) and choose the best combination of quality and cost

  • Coordinating internal and external events, ensuring successful execution.
  • Shipping Marketing materials to events
  • Organization of inventory and tracking of previous events

Qualifications

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven experience as an event coordinator for both internal and external events.
  • A track record of organizing successful events.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Excellent vendor management skills.
  • Knowledge of basic recruitment practices.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation ability.
  • Detail-oriented and reliable with good time management skills.
  • Highly organized in maintaining event inventory and tracking event-related information.
  • Able to handle stress and remain calm.
  • Strong problem-solving ability.
  • Able to work individually as well as in a group.
