About the role

Deel continues to be a leader in the SaaS industry, rapidly approaching $1B in recurring revenue through strategic innovation and market expansion. With over 30,000 global customers, our operations are crucial to sustaining and accelerating this growth. As a Senior Data Analyst in Revenue Operations, you will be integral to managing and optimizing our revenue models and reporting systems. This role involves detailed analysis and reporting of revenue figures and related metrics across the organization, influencing decisions from tactical levels up to C-level strategic discussions.

Responsibilities

  • As part of our data team, you’ll work closely with data engineers, analytics engineers and analysts across the business to develop our tools. 

  • You'll create revenue forecasting systems that allow us to run the business more efficiently

  • You’ll collaborate with teams across the company, from other analysts to C-level executives, providing them with insights and data-driven recommendations 

  • You will develop, maintain, and refine comprehensive revenue reports to accurately track and explain the financial performance of the company in Looker

  • You will support the integration and utilization of ERP data to improve the granularity and utility of financial reporting 

  • You'll generate and govern the metrics that will be published in our public filings

  • You'll work closely with Product, Finance and Business Control, to help shape a scalable financial tech infrastructure for the next 10 years!

Requirements:

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Math, Economics, Computer Science, or another STEM or Finance field

  • You have at least 5 years experience in an analytical role 

  • You have exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to simplify complex data into compelling stories to stakeholders at all levels

  • You work well with people across the spectrum

  • Highly proficient in SQL and experience with revenue data.

  • Experience in data visualization tooling (we use Looker)

  • Experience in data modeling, metrics design, and building scalable reporting solutions


We'd especially love to speak with you if:

  • You have hands-on experience with dbt and LookML

  • Knowledge of ERP systems and familiarity with data structures common in financial and accounting software

  • Experience with version control tools (GitHub, GitLab)

  • Previous exposure to fast-paced, high-growth B2B SaaS companies

  • You are familiar with finance and accounting principles that may determine revenue recognition in a SaaS company
