About Us:
The wHydrate Group, a leader in IV hydration therapy, operates 14 locations across three states. Founded in 2017, we are dedicated to providing affordable, client-focused care in a welcoming environment. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team and play a critical role in our financial operations.
Position Overview:
The CPA will oversee the financial health of The wHydrate Group by managing accounting practices, financial reporting, and compliance. This role will work closely with leadership to ensure financial strategies align with organizational goals and provide actionable insights to drive the company’s success.This position offers significant opportunities for growth and advancement within the company. It goes beyond standard accounting responsibilities, requiring someone who can think strategically and contribute to long-term planning and decision-making. We’re seeking a candidate who can analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive the company forward. This is not just about crunching numbers in Excel; it’s about taking a proactive role in shaping the financial and operational strategies that will support our continued success.Key Responsibilities:- Prepare, analyze, and present accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and budgeting.- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations; prepare and file tax returns.- Conduct financial audits and identify areas for process improvement.- Provide strategic financial advice to leadership to support decision-making.- Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships.Qualifications:- Active CPA license.- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.- Minimum of 5 - 10 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a multi-entity business.- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards, and tax codes.- Experience with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
