2020 Companies, in partnership with our client Dell, is seeking a Full-Time Tour Manager for E-Sports and Gaming Engagements to join our Alienware team!

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Tour Manager to join our team in Austin, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing e-sports and gaming engagements across the country, ensuring that all events are successful and memorable for all involved. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing an events team that will interact with the general public and vendors, ensuring that they provide excellent customer service and represent our company in a positive manner.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, as well as 3-5 years of experience in event management, with a focus on e-sports and gaming engagements. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.

Job Description:

• Coordinate and execute e-sports and gaming engagements across the Austin area on a weekly basis, including setting up and tearing down event equipment and ensuring that all participants have a positive experience
• Manage an events team that would interact with the general public and vendors, ensuring that they provide excellent customer service and represent our company in a positive manner
• Work closely with our client and vendors to ensure that all events are well-promoted and well-attended
• Manage event budgets and work with vendors to secure the necessary equipment and supplies
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service, ensuring that all participants have a positive experience with our brand
• Work with our internal teams to continually improve our events and ensure that they are in line with our company's goals and objectives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in event management, with a focus on e-sports and gaming engagements
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel and work weekends as needed
• Be able to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours. Ability to lift heavy objects with care and ease (up to 50 pounds)
