Job responsibilities include assisting with four-handed dentistry, preparing work areas and instruments, completing fluoride treatments for patients, taking dental impressions and pouring casts, providing dental imaging services, taking inventory and maintaining supplies for clinic and supply room, disposing of hazardous materials, preparing and distributing disinfection solution, maintaining and testing sterilization equipment, maintaining and updating all pertinent records.
- Dental Assistant Minimum Qualifications
Additional training beyond high school diploma in a dental assisting program; supplemented with 6 months of experience or training as a dental assistant.
