Votre mission
Reporting to the Director of Design, the Design Manager will strategize and develop creative graphic design solutions for our four dermo-cosmetic brands (Eau Thermale Avène, Glytone, René Futerer and Klorane), including point-of-sale materials, print materials, packaging, tradeshow materials, website, email and social content across all consumer activation touchpoints, with an emphasis on digital. The Design Manager will also be responsible for editing video and animation content, photography and should have a strong understanding of UX design, HTML and CSS. In this role, the Design Manager will collaborate with key internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams (digital, media, PR, and marketing/brand teams) to develop best-in-class designs that align with the brand's strategy and values, while remaining agile to rapidly evolving industry trends and business needs.
This role is for a well-rounded generalist creative designer, photographer, video editor, print production manager who enjoys working across media and design platforms.
Essential Functions:
  • Translate creative briefs into engaging, on-brand solutions across our four dermo-cosmetic brands for point-of-sale materials, print materials, packaging, tradeshow materials, PR, website, campaign assets, email and social content.
  • Resize, edit, retouch photography as needed.
  • Strategize with Brand and Digital Content teams to execute with consistency and efficiency while continuing to optimize assets.
  • Stay abreast of the latest design trends and technologies to develop best-in-class designs.
  • Create/edit engaging video and animated content.
  • Work collaboratively to receive and apply feedback in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Prepare artwork files for final release for internal teams and vendor partners.
  • Work with external partners and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Lead asset development with a test and learn mindset.
  • Deliver designs on time and per requested specifications.
  • Develop assets as needed to support cross-functional teams.
  • Other duties as described by business
Competencies:
  • Best-in-class graphic design, typography, layout, photography, photo editing/retouching and video editing skills
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite and video editing platform(s)
  • Ability to accept and translate feedback into workable solutions that meet the goals of the campaign
  • Ability to clearly communicate design options to internal stakeholders
  • Familiarity with production needs and timelines for both print and digital content

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and/or Digital Design with 3-5 years of professional experience, preferably within beauty
  • Video and animation experience required
  • Strong UX design skills
  • Knowledge of the digital and social environment including formats and best practices
  • Strong eye for design and detail
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Creative, innovative, and have a thorough understanding of current market trends within the beauty industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS a plus
  • Photography experience required
  • Compelling portfolio

Work Environment / physical demands / position type and expected hours of work:
  • This job operates in a clerical, office setting.
  • The normal working hours of the office are from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
  • This position is currently a hybrid role.
