We're looking for a Design Technologist to help us accomplish our mission to improve lives by learning from the experience of every cancer patient. Here's what you need to know about the role, our team and why Flatiron Health is the right next step in your career.
You’ll be joining our Design Systems team at the very beginning and will have the opportunity to help define how Flatiron products and tools should work, no matter who the end users are. You will help level up the way designers and engineers work together and help evolve our Design System into a core part of our software toolkit. Your work will enable teams to rapidly prototype new ideas and create high-quality user-facing applications that focus on usability, consistency, and accessibility. You will work with teams across the organization to help define front-end best practices for scalable and reliable code that touches the lives of millions of cancer patients. In addition, you’ll also:
You're a hybrid designer who codes, or an engineer who can design. You are able to generalize user behaviour to create a scalable system of interactions that can be used by many types of applications. And then you can mock them up in Figma and can code them in the front end. You're excited by the prospect of rolling up your sleeves to tackle meaningful problems each and every day. You’re a kind, passionate and collaborative problem-solver who seeks and gives candid feedback, and values the chance to make an important impact.
If this sounds like you, you'll fit right in at Flatiron.
Flatiron Health was founded in 2012 and became an independent affiliate of the Roche Group after its acquisition by Roche in 2018. It prides itself as a healthtech company dedicated to helping cancer centres thrive and deliver better patient care.
