Desktop Engineer

By joining Insight Enterprises as a Desktop Engineer, you will enter a tech savvy and highly collaborative world. We provide the hardware, software and IT support services for our customers' most critical IT objectives. We are helping a customer in Thomasville, NC upgrade their infrastructure and there is a need for a capable Desktop Engineer to join the efforts for the migration portion of the project.

Please note, this will be an on-site position in Thomasville, NC for a duration of 3+ months. Target compensation is $70/hr on our W2; we are unable to sponsor for this role.

What you will be doing:

• Assist with the rollout of O365 on client desktops.
• Configure Outlook clients to point to O365
• Assist with updating\migrating templates, etc.

What you need to join:

• 5 years of Desktop Support Experience.
• 3 years of experience with Office 365, including client installation\configuration, support, etc..
• Experience troubleshooting O365 configuration, connectivity, profiles, etc.
• Knowledge of enterprise-level mobile device management application
• Familiarity with Active Directory design and deployment experience in various migration scenarios of Active
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePoint
• Good understanding of Networking concepts, including VIP, IP routing, DNS, etc.
• Good understanding and experience with Active Directory.
• Must be able to work well independently
• Excellent communication skills verbal and in written
• Ability to work with multiple teams
• Fluent in English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Relevant certifications are a plus.
• Experience with Mac devices is a plus.
