We have an excellent opportunity for a Temporary, Part-Time Development Coordinator in Lexington. The Coordinator will work approximately 15-20 hours per week.

The primary responsibility will be to handle corporate fundraising, volunteer recruitment and management, and event logistics for our corporate fundraising campaigns in the Lexington market.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on logistics support and volunteer management for our Go Red For Women event, as well as providing support to sponsorship and table sales, as needed.
  • Supporting the auction for our Heart Ball event, including assisting with recruiting and managing a volunteer committee.
  • Assisting in securing individual giving donations, focusing on recommits and Open Your Heart gifts for events.
  • Providing overall support for event logistics based on national best practices.

Qualifications

  • Experience in fundraising or outside sales or in a non-profit organization in a similar capacity.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to thrive in a results-driven and collaborative environment with highly effective organization, multi-tasking, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have at least basic knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office.
