DevOps Technical Project Manager

Qualification : Bachelor or Master in Computer Science / IT / Computer Applications
Requirement:
- Candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of technical Project management experience with IT Projects.
- Candidate should be a good communicator and should be able to articulate technical problems and solutions to stakeholders
- Should be able to own the Organizational goal and drive LOBs to align with them
- Good with Ms office and other PM Tools with Excel, Powerpoint, and Jira
- Should be good at Side presentation, status reporting, Driving work efforts, calculating velocity, and estimation, the ad should be able to speak in technical verbatim.
Technical Acumen:
- 4-6 years of Development or Ops experience with knowledge of Coding practices, Ops Processes, and other relevant SDLC cycle processes
- Adequate knowledge of CI CD and DevSecOps pipelines
- Adequate knowledge of DevSecOps transformations
- Adequate knowledge of DevSecOps processes
- Adequate knowledge of Scans, Testing integration with pipelines
- Adequate knowledge of DORA, value Streams, Branching Strategies, Deployment Strategies, and other DevSecOps management processes
Good to Have:
- Knowledge and hands-on tools for DevSecOps especially Gitlab and Azure DevOps
- Experience with COE or COE Setup
- Business Domain (FinTech) knowledge/experience is a plus
Responsibility:
- Lead the Opus team for the Client and represent Opus in front of the client.
- Lead the design and architecture for DevSecOps transformation in the Client
- Align with the Client’s vision and help take it forward, suggest ideas to make it robust, reusable and efficient, and cost-effective by the use of engineering practices
- Work with LOBs and help them onboard to the centralized process
- Act as a member of COE and help LOBs
- Guide LOBs, and help them in understanding DevSecOps processes and the nuances around it
- Educate teams about the common framework for DevSecOps
- Lead the following activities –
- Create global templates
- Create standards
- Enforcing governance
- Testing automation
- Helping with building automation
- Ensure the line of business can function but cannot govern or modify
- Manage the OPUS team
- Conduct governance calls, Steer co-calls, etc
- Maintain Jira and other project management tools
- Do project planning, project execution-related activities
- Highlight and communicate with the stakeholders and clients on issues, risks, etc
