Apply via Dice today!Title: SOC AnalystLocation: Remote (Must live in US)Type: W2 Contract (+ Health benefits) (C2C/Hourly referral is not available)Duration: 12 monthsWe are looking to hire a SOC Analyst with 5-7 years experience with:• Triaging events and alerts to determine if an incident has occurred including locating owners of assets, validating if an event was a true positive, and escalating incidents as necessary to the Incident Response team.• Performing rapid response and triaging of security reports, analysis on email phishing reports and threats and forensic examinations on hosts.• Demonstrated deep understanding with security controls/tooling including:• Splunk• Elasticsearch (SIEM/Logging)• Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, CrowdStrike, Wazuh, or Tanium• Netskope SWG and CASB, Palo Alto IPS, or CloudFlare WAF• Threat Actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), log analysis, network traffic analysis, and analyzing system artifacts• Nuance to role: Experience with Windows administration is required• Again, this is not eligible for visa sponsorship or working on 1099/C2C basis.
