Apply via Dice today!Provide Delphi development for banking client...Pyramid Consulting Group Inc has a client with an immediate need for a SR DELPHI ENGINEER with the following background and skills:Must have technical skills/experience:• Delphi (D5 or 10 preferred- but any experience accepted)• Application Design, Architecture Knowledge of application design activities, tools and techniques; ability toutilize these to convert business requirements and logical models into a technical application design.• Application Development Tools Knowledge of and ability to utilize a variety of specific tools and toolkits for thedevelopment and support of applications.• Application Maintenance Knowledge of and ability to define, implement changes to, and support a productionapplication.• Application Testing Knowledge of application testing and ability to design, plan and execute application testingstrategies and tactics to ensure software quality throughout all stages of application development.• System Development Life Cycle Knowledge of project management techniques and the ability to plan, design,develop, test, implement and maintain system development life cycle segments and phases.• Technical Writing/Documentation Knowledge of the technical language and writing approach, and the ability towrite paper-based and on-line technical reference documentation (guidelines, standards, procedures, processes,applications, etc.)• Technical Troubleshooting Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques, and theability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical (hardware, software, application or operational) problems.• App development including multiple platforms: web, mobile, desktop, handheld, and Point of Sale (POS).• Experience in having applications meet quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, and scalabilityFlex Skills:• C#• Java/JavaScript• TypeScript• Objective CCandidate preferred industry background: Banking or Retail with POS preferredPreferred bachelor's degree in a technical field or relevant work experience - any relevant certifications would be a nice to have - prior military service welcomed
