Director, Business Development & Key Accounts

The Key Accounts & BD Director will be responsible for building customer relationships by providing solution-oriented and proactive client support. The goals for the position are to grow our partnerships with these top US partners in such a way that we deliver greater value and customer experience while meeting/exceeding their KPIs.

 



 


Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for customer relationship, revenue growth, and expansion of product usage
  • Effectively manage a highly critical account(s) alongside several smaller accounts
  • Facilitate and drive all customer meetings on a regular cadence and lead all MBR/QBRs
  • Manage customer escalations, facilitate both internal and external communication on issues. Expected to manage sensitive communication with the customer. 
  • Responsible for in-depth customer knowledge - includes details on territories, device trends, as well as customer priorities. 
  • Be knowledgeable on all DT products to be able to effectively speak to clients about product suite & offerings 
  • Manage business cases with FP&A team and present to the customer; 
  • Monitor pacing and manage forecasting initiatives 
  • Maintain a solid understanding of macro trends affecting the demand side of the business
  • Monitor KPIs on a daily and weekly basis across all product flows on partners 
  • Responsible for creating the strategy on upsells and growth on accounts 
  • Assist in annual Planning to ensure our AOP initiatives support and map to revenue targets
  • Execute daily Account Management tasks to ensure customer needs are being met
  • Attend all internal pipeline and ops meetings to provide updates on accounts 
  • Ability to respond to frequent demands of multiple customers - both internal and external.


Required Skills:
  • 8-12 years of online media, or other advertising experience and knowledge of online ad serving with mobile advertising a strong plus
  • Ability to join a named account and make an immediate impact
  • Experience in Sales
  • Ability to work with a global and remote team
  • Ability to build rapport and grow relationships both via phone and in-person with all customers.
  • Very strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of advertiser monetization landscape and ad operations a plus
  • Prior experience doing partner development within the digital media strata is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to be flexible in regard to work hours to support customer time zones.
  • Comfortable with using large sets of data to craft a narrative that influences customer behavior.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Comfort and experience with a fast-paced start-up environment
  • A positive approach to challenging situations
  • Strong problem-solving, influencing, and negotiating skills.
  • Professional maturity; high emotional IQ
