AMC Networks is seeking an experienced Finance thought leader to join our Corporate FP&A team. The Director, Corporate FP&A will partner across the Finance organization to provide financial guidance, analysis, and decision support. This role reports into the VP, Corporate FP&A.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Key member of Corporate FP&A team, contributing to the execution of enterprise budgeting and forecasting; working closely with operational finance teams and business leaders to gather insights into business trends to update monthly forecasts; consolidating inputs across the organization and developing informed perspectives on results and risks and opportunities as they relate to the goals and strategies of the company
Drive insights from the Business and Consolidated P&Ls, identifying trends and early warnings, and distilling the information into actionable suggestions to communicate to Senior Leadership
Drive the execution of a P&L transformation roadmap, partnering across the Finance, Accounting, and Technology organizations to identify automation opportunities and drive the implementation of process efficiencies and enhanced modeling and reporting capabilities
Lead Global Capex management activities in partnership with the Global Technologies Operations Finance team
Support business decision making through ad-hoc financial modeling and analysis; serve as key thought leader to Finance leadership

QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)

8-10 years of Finance/Accounting-related experience
Proven experience managing the financial reporting and planning processes across a global business; strong knowledge of financials statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) is required
A leader of change management who can bring the organization along to adopt new approaches and evolve
Familiarity with multiple planning & reporting tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication, including the aptitude to create and deliver high quality presentations
Detail oriented, with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously in a demanding, fast-paced environment, along with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
Organized, polished, and persistent in follow-through to ensure the right results on time
Media and entertainment experience a plus

The base compensation range for this position is $130,000.00 to $155,000.00 commensurate with experience.
