We're seeking a visionary leader to head our Enterprise Data & Analytics function, someone who can take charge and revolutionize the way we leverage internal business data to unlock new opportunities and elevate our customer service to unprecedented heights.

In this role you will serve as the expert technical and cross-functional leader by spearheading the development of reporting and analytics capabilities across all departments and influencing teams to develop and execute data strategies that align with our ambitious growth goals. These technical and leadership skills will help you empower our teams to make informed, data-backed decisions by fostering a culture of data literacy and promoting best practices. As an ideal candidate you can demonstrate a deep understanding of data management programs, team building, and best practices while consistently delivering significant business value through iterative methods.

What you'll do:

  • Building and scaling the team (both direct and indirect) responsible for managing business data.
  • Define and manage the roadmap of business data initiatives.
  • Oversee design and delivery of data models, reports, dashboards, and other BI initiatives, being hands-on when necessary.
  • Championing the data vision and fostering a strong data-centric culture.
  • Build productive partnerships with teams across Bazaarvoice
  • Define and enforce enterprise data governance policies, processes, & tools
  • Develop enterprise data dictionary to ensure consistency across the business
  • Establish and manage data quality KPIs

Who you are:

  • Eight plus years of progressive leadership experience in leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide data programs.
  • 6+ years of relevant data management consulting or industry experience (master data, metadata, data architecture, data governance, data quality, data modeling, data standards, data strategy)
  • Expertise in Snowflake, FiveTran, DBT, and Tableau and similar technologies
  • Strong data management background that includes driving strategy, architecture, governance, tooling and enablement
  • Ability to effectively drive consensus across organizations and lead by influencing.
  • Technical and non-technical communication skills at varying levels in the organization, including the executive level.
  • Experience staffing and managing a team spanning multiple geographies and time zones.
  • Experience in integrating complex, cross-corporate processes, and information strategies, and/or designing strategic metrics and scorecards
  • Experience with data related to mainstream SaaS business technology systems (Salesforce, Marketo, Netsuite, OpenAir, Jira, etc).
  • BA/BS required; MBA or other relevant Master's degree preferred (eg: engineering, computer science, statistics, applied mathematics or other related fields)
