Overview:
Lifeway is seeking a Director, Ministry Success & Consulting who will ultimately be responsible for the successful execution of ministry engagement strategies. As the Director, you will work closely with Marketing, Publishing and other sales team to ensure the team has the resources to be successful. You will be a leader of leaders, a coach at heart, love to see others succeed, and maintain a deep conviction that Lifeway resources can help church staff disciple their congregations.

This is a remote position in the U.S. with occasional travel to Nashville for in-person team gatherings. #LI-Remote
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, coaching, and inspiration to Customer Success Representatives and Auxano consulting staff. Teach and train team to identify growth areas and opportunities at the individual, team and department level

Play a significant cross-functional role as the primary advocate for the church ensuring that Lifeway continues to offer the most relevant products and services that serve the church well while meeting internal performance goals

Develop, test and execute a business plan that positions Lifeway as a ministry thought leader leading to deeper relationships with churches while meeting and exceeding key revenue and performance goals

Develop a plan to leverage technology and data to inform and support decision making. This will require a robust set of metrics with supporting reporting

Provide timely and accurate monthly and quarterly revenue forecasts that are grounded in your understanding of the business and the data that supports it

Participate in key sales cycles and maintain excellent cross-functional relationships

Participate as a key member of the Sales Leadership team

Ability to travel overnight, 15% minimum
Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor's degree, Required
Seminary degree or other theological training, strongly preferred
Experience / Skills Required

Live out Lifeway’s mission and values, showing deep commitment to Kingdom work

Minimum 3 years' experience consulting and/or church leadership

Minimum 8+ years' experience selling value-based products and/or services

Advanced understanding of the Christian content market and its customers

Strong operational and analytical skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Successful master of sales management, lead generation management
Active participation in an evangelical Christian church
Strongly Preferred Skills

Prior experience church planting, starting new ministries, and/or church revitalization, strongly preferred

Experience implementing and building a new remote sales team

Prior experience working with CRM, strong preference given to Salesforce
