Director of Finance

We are looking for a Director of Finance to join our client's dynamic and fast-growing start-up company. Equity ownership and a hybrid work schedule are available. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will interface with the CPA and Tax Accountant to ensure compliance with all financial regulations and best practices. Experience with Series A Funding is required.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing all aspects of financial operations.

• Raising equity. Managing cap table.

• Automating processes.

• Modeling.

• Forecasting and FP&A.

• Budgeting.

• Occasional travel to vendor or client locations.

To be successful in this role, you must have the following experience:

• Previous experience with an investor-backed startup, Venture Capital firm, or Private Equity firm and experience with Seed and Series A stage financings is mandatory.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and other financial software and tools. Experience with a system migration is a plus.

• Experience with automation and data analysis.

• Experience in raising capital and fundraising from various sources, such as banks, private equity firms, angel investors, etc.

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

• Willingness to wear many hats from doing bookkeeping to facilitating a venture capital raise.

• A passion for innovation and entrepreneurship. Willingness to take on challenges in a fast-paced environment.
