Position: Director of Financial Planning & Analysis

Location: Woodland Hills, CA

FLSA Classification: Exempt, Full-Time

Compensation: $175,000 - 225,000

Overview

Abbyson is seeking an experienced Director of Financial Planning Analysis to join our rapidly growing organization! This role is tasked with critical areas of operating the growing Supply Chain and E-Commerce Sales Operations divisions, including FP&A initiatives, project management of major business initiatives, effective communication and reporting across the organization, and implementing procedures and processes to help Abbyson run efficiently and at scale. The role is highly cross-functional involving coordination across a number of departments including New E-Commerce Customer Launches, Project Management and overall EDI support operations.

Reporting Structure

The Director of Financial Planning Analysis will work cross-functionally with Supply Chain Operations Teams and E-Commerce Sales Teams, under the guidance of the Executive Leadership. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Finance.

Essential Functions

Project & Process Management

  • Analyze quantitative & qualitative data to identify opportunities to improve our current e-commerce team operations.
  • Manage implementation, maintenance and improvement of projects across all digital channels.
  • Ideate and execute on ad-hoc initiatives, including new tools, workflows, product features, and product launches.
  • Identify and develop data collection strategies to support reporting on key performance indicators that directly measure e-commerce performance.

Supply Chain & Sales Operations Analysis

  • Understand, measure, and improve operational KPIs for the Supply Chain and E-Commerce Sales Teams.
  • Collaborate and support cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Order Fulfillment, E-Commerce, EDI and IT operations.
  • Improve operational excellence through process root-cause analysis and execution of recommendations that create efficiencies, remove obstacles, and enhance operating productivity.
  • Define and manage operational and financial metrics across workflows.
  • Manage daily reporting including manipulating large data sets for the FP&A division while supporting other cross-functional teams.

Qualifications & Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 10+ years related experience in financial planning and analysis required.
  • Expert knowledge of Excel including manipulating large sets of data, VLOOKUP’s and Pivot Tables required.
  • Experience with Microsoft GreatPlains accounting software is a plus.
  • Attention to detail, time management and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with high degree of problem-solving skills.
  • A positive attitude and is flexible and able to work as part of a team.
