Director of Product Marketing (Fully Remote)

SignalWire is looking for a motivated and driven Director of Product Marketing to help take our products to the next level. Through internal and external research, you will become the expert on SignalWire’s buyer and user personas in each vertical and segment – how they buy, their buying criteria, KPIs they’re responsible for. Use this knowledge to inform demand generation programs, messaging, content creation, channel programs, and product roadmap. We're looking for a candidate who brings expertise, creativity, and flexibility and can guide our small (but powerful) Product Marketing team and function to its full potential.


  • Define and research our ideal customer profile (ICP)
  • Own positioning and messaging to effectively communicate our unique value.
  • Develop External Content: Create and drive our basic customer assets (first call deck, demo, website) that motivate prospects to learn more about our offerings
  • Liaise with Product Management and Sales to create stage-appropriate content to accelerate lead-to-close journey (e.g. sales decks, product sheets, demo scripts, battle cards, objection handling kill-sheets, RFP response templates, etc.)
  • Partner with customers to build case studies, testimonial videos and webinars to tell stories of how SignalWire’s products have helped them unlock transformational improvement in their KPIs (e.g. growth of revenues, decrease in churn, and increased time to value).
  • Drive Product Launches: Work closely with Product and our Sales team to announce tier-1 features and modules to the market at large.
  • Package communication around product technology and make it understandable to the customer
  • Build and Manage a team: Manage and lead a Product Marketing team of high performing individuals
  • Build and present content for live audiences including product demos

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product marketing management experience supporting SaaS-based solutions, ideally in B2B product-led environments
  • An experienced leader who has built, developed and retained high performing product marketing teams
  • An empathetic player / coach who leads from the front by modeling desired behavior and empowers their team members to win together and individually.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex technical considerations and then frame them in a simple manner to drive collective understanding, alignment, and decision-making.
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator and influencer who understands how to drive success working with product, sales, client strategy and marketing teams
  • Great communicator who has the ability to influence and build alignment across the organization, specifically at the executive level
  • Outstanding communication skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritization
  • Adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements that are inherent to high-growth, category-creating companies.
  • Ability to excel in a high stress and dynamic, self driven environment

Life Insurance, Short Term, and Long Term Disability

SignalWire pays for every employee to have $50,000 of life insurance coverage. If you want even more coverage, that is optional and paid by the employee. We also pay for Short Term Disability insurance for every employee which covers 60% of your weekly income (up to $2500/week after 14 days) and Long Term Disability which covers 50% of your income (up to $1000 after 180 waiting period). Additional Short Term and Long Term Disability coverage can be added at the employee's expense.
