Role Overview:
Trellix is seeking a dynamic Director of Product Marketing with experience in XDR, SIEM, SOAR or End Point Security technologies. This individual will be responsible for driving the go-to-market strategy, messaging, sales enablement content, channel content, thought leadership, competitive and lead conversion content as well as support analyst relations activity. In this role, you will lead a team of product marketers and partner across the company with senior leaders in product management, business development, marketing, and sales to drive growth and deliver value to our customers.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of 2-4 product marketers to drive go-to-market success for Trellix’s SecOps product portfolio
Create differentiated messaging for all products within the portfolio to articulate Trellix’s value proposition and leadership in the XDR market. Continuously examine and refine messaging to maximize impact and conversion
Drive creation of mid- and bottom-of-the-funnel content and collateral, including white papers, thought leadership content, data sheets, customer presentations, videos, success stories, webinar content, blog posts, competitive content and more to accelerate conversion
Support the Sales Engineering team in developing compelling storylines with relevant use cases to demo the product effectively
Create impactful content for the Analyst Relations team to support building deeper relationships with key industry influencers through briefings, inquiries, advisory day meetings and more
Use data and research to continually influence product strategy and develop go-to-market plans for product launches and releases
Partner with the Sales Enablement team to develop and deliver the right content to educate and arm the sales reps to drive meaningful customer conversations
Evangelize product value proposition at analyst briefings, events, webinars, sales trainings, customer conversations and more
Develop and lead a Voice of Customer program to test ideas and to refine product positioning, packaging and product capabilities.
Lead SecOps track for Customer Advisory Board meetings
Develop compelling product-level content for industry events, corporate events and customer advisory board meetings
Analyze product performance and marketing metrics and refine GTM strategy on a regular basis, collaborating with the Product Management and Marketing teams
Be the expert on buyer personas, buyer journey and targeted value propositions
About you:
You bring 10+ years of experience in the cybersecurity domain, 10+ years of product marketing experience. Experience in End Point Protection products is a plus
You have a technical background. MBA preferred
You are analytical and able to use data to inform strategic decisions
You are a great communicator and able to present to large audiences
You work well with others are able to influence action and decisions
You are calm under pressure, and able to respond to changing needs of the business
