Director of Sales Strategy and Operations, Oncology

BillionToOne's first product, UNITY™ is the first and only prenatal screen that directly assesses a baby's risk for common and severe recessive gene disorders such as cystic fibrosis and sickle cell, and chromosomal abnormalities like down syndrome from a single tube of blood from the pregnant mother.

We are seeking a Director, Sales Strategy and Operations Oncology to build and manage a best-in-class oncology sales operations teams. Sales Operations at BTO includes managing client services, patient billing, and sales enablement including salesforce.com for our oncology division. This role will build the operational infrastructure and control environment to support the company's hyper-growth and help prepare the company for a successful IPO. The ideal candidate is a committed team player with a solid work ethic, willing and able to roll up their sleeves and get the job done. The Director, Sales Strategy and Operations Oncology, will report to the Sr. Director Sales Strategy and Operations and will be located in our corporate office in Menlo Park, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Own the setup of our client services, patient billing, sales enablement, and salesforce.com teams to prepare to scale our oncology sales team.
  • Build and manage a best-in-class Client Services team as well as the operational infrastructure and control environment to support the company's hyper-growth and help prepare the company for a successful IPO.
  • Help implement various systems and leverage technology to build scalable/sustainable processes to create efficiencies, streamline accounting operations and improve the employee experience.
  • Plan and own all sales operations functions across the organization.
  • Build out a stand alone salesforce instance dedicated to our oncology products and sales teams.
  • Manage a patient collections team. Including outbound dialing and text messaging to optimize collection results.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership in how to run a sales operations organization in a high growth environment where changes are constant.
  • Benchmark with industry peers on standard methodologies related to salesforce dashboards, calculating commission for reps, and a best in class client services team.
  • Participate in key strategic initiatives and assist with ad hoc projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Salesforce.com admin or experience preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, including leading setting up processes and scaling the operations for high-growth companies.
  • Demonstrated ability to build new capabilities, with a process-oriented mindset. You are expected to build a high performing team and look for continuous improvements.
  • Detailed oriented with the ability to analyze data from various systems and departments in a high growth environment.
  • Experience working with salesforce.com and
  • Experience with the diagnostics industry in oncology (Client services, patient billing, sales enablement, and salesforce.com) is highly preferred
  • Results driven with a high sense of urgency, taking ownership and ability to work in a fast paced environment with competing priorities.

At BillionToOne, we are proud to offer a combination of a (1) base pay range (actual amount offered is based experience and salary/equity options split that the candidate chooses) (2) generous equity options offering, on top of (3) industry leading company benefits (free healthcare options, 401k match, very generous fully paid paternal leave etc.).

For this position, the base pay range is: $175,000-$200,000 per year
