The Role
The People & Culture Partner is a key position within Warner Bros. Discovery’s People and Culture team. The position will partner with leadership to provide solutions to employee-related matters, maintaining a balance between being a strategic business partner and employee champion. This position will continuously challenge the status quo and develop initiatives that ensure Warner Bros. Discovery remains an employer of choice. This position will be located in Bellevue, Washington with some anticipated travel.
The People & Culture Partner will be a positive self-starter who can think strategically about big picture business goals as well as tactically execute a full range of People & Culture initiatives. In this dynamic culture, the role will serve as the primary partner to the business and the liaison with the broader HR community of Warner Bros. Discovery. Candidates for this position should be innovative, solution-oriented, analytical, collaborative, and be able to engage with colleagues across level, location, and discipline. The role must effectively work in a fast-paced creative environment, bringing an energy and enthusiasm to the function, founded in sound strategy.
Responsibilities
Understand the top business priorities to execute against the people strategy in line with the business goals, refining business objectives through the lens of People & Culture and talent management
Create and drive efficient people processes that enable self-service for business leaders while ensuring equitable and inclusive practices that support employees.
Ensure the workforce, including current and future leaders, is high performing, motivated and continually improving
Support Employee Relations matters, in partnership with the People Relations team, and the execution of annual People & Culture processes
Support managers and employees in matters related to career development, staffing initiatives, employee relations, workplace ethics and performance management
Foster a culture of inclusiveness, openness, and honesty within the organization along with championing organizational values and diversity
Partner with business leaders and P&C COEs to help drive leadership offsites focused on talent management, leadership development, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Coach managers to proactively manage employees (e.g., performance and attendance) and provide advice to resolve grievance and disciplinary issues
Support managers and employees in matters related to career development, staffing initiatives, employee relations, workplace ethics and performance management
Identify skills gaps through effective resource planning and provide up-skilling processes to bridge these gaps
Support culture and leadership enablement efforts within the business
Attend business leader staff meetings – maintains a pulse on business needs and communicates People & Culture programs/initiatives ensuring flawless execution
Use data (qualitative and quantitative) to identify trends that helps to inform People & Culture strategies and proactive solutions
Develop strong working relationships with People & Culture Leaders, COEs, and business leaders, leveraging these relationships to identify areas within the business that are faced with organizational health challenges directly related to business objectives
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience
7+ years of progressive, professional HR experience
Experience supporting client groups within a business and ability to flex between those different groups
Proven experience in conflict resolution and organizational management practices within a sophisticated, matrixed environment
Innovative thinker who can respectfully challenge and build on the ideas of peers
Kind, compassionate and leads with confidence, honesty and integrity
Expert Listener & Communicator: Ability to understand the needs of a variety of constituents and deliver information and insights quickly with appropriate details and correct pitch/tone for the audience
High executive presence with the ability to exert influence within the organization by clearly expressing goals and initiatives that garner buy-in and enthusiasm
Demonstrated ability to apply HR knowledge to resolve complex business challenges
Ability to deliver results, providing day-to-day support in a dynamic environment - role is both strategic and hands on
Ability to adapt quickly to a competitive and changing business landscape. Must understand how to focus the organization on planning for tomorrow, not only on executing today
Ability to pull from a variety of backgrounds including HRBP, OD, talent strategy, HR COEs, compensation, benefits and the business

The Legal Bits…
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $126,350.00 - $234,650.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
