The Opportunity:
Datadog is seeking a Director, People Service Center to join our People team. This person will build and lead our People Service Center (PSC) and help execute successful completion of projects including systems, compliance, onboarding, offboarding, job changes, and all other tasks along the full employee lifecycle to help us scale the organization in our rapid growth both now and in the future. You will create streamlined processes and structure for continued future growth to help support our employees and teams globally. This team will work in conjunction with People Business Partners, Talent, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, HRIS and others.
The successful candidate will have significant knowledge of Workday and the ability to set strategy, structure, and scalable processes. You will play a critical part in the continued deployment of new functionality, developing solutions and enabling the continued growth of Datadog. It will be imperative to have a holistic view on the entire organization and our employees in order to build a comprehensive strategy across all tools covering all people areas. This role will be an investment and integral part of the People Team supporting our continued hyper growth of 40%+ and helping to maintain our service level to all departments, employees, managers, and systems.
You Will:
Own and drive the creation and building of our People Service Center
Manage large global projects, including change management, and managing key stakeholders across 30 different countries
Drive the ramping, career pathing and development of all People Coordinators and Associates with consistent enablement, approach and structure
Create key metrics, data analytics and dashboards for consumption across the People team, managers, and COE’s to drive strong alignment and access to relevant information in real time
Ensure the structure and framework ultimately supports the employees, PBP teams, managers, and are compliant and scalable
Work closely with all Centers of Expertise to ensure we have the same HR processes for the same tasks across the People Coordinator team
Focused on high level of customer service across the teams, driving consistency and key SLA’s routing information to appropriate teams at the right time where necessary in a consistent way
Create and drive the strategy for the overall team with set priorities
Project Manage new initiatives as we continue to scale globally
You Are:
Experiences in 7 years of leading a team, with 12+ years relevant professional experience
Confident in your previous experience in HR, including employment law and compliance
Proficient in modern tech tools to deliver project management, analytics, and process
Knowledgable in Workday core functionality and understanding of business processes and architecture of Workday
Comfortable creating, building and driving change management, effective project management, and global scaling of people processes
