Director, Product Management - GamesHub

We are seeking a Director of Product Management to lead our GamesHub Product Team. This is a highly strategic role responsible for overseeing the launch and growth of our App Store product on a global scale. GamesHub enables mobile Carriers to create a captivating, end-to-end store-like experience for their mobile gaming audiences, while providing app developers with a scalable alternative growth opportunity to engage audiences and monetize their games.
As the Director of Product Management, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive engagement, monetization, and growth product initiatives for GamesHub. Your expertise in app store management, mobile gaming, and payments will be crucial in defining the product vision, supporting roadmap development, and contributing to strategic planning.

About the Role:

  • Lead releases of GamesHub at scale by executing on the development of key feature sets that position the product for sustained growth.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of platform KPIs, confidently identifying strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities based on data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to define, align, and deliver multi-year strategic roadmaps for user and carrier experiences, managing trade-offs, bottlenecks, and maximizing business benefits.
  • Establish success metrics and take accountability for delivering capabilities that support achieving key milestones and growth targets.
  • Manage resources and prioritize features across multiple teams, working closely with technical teams to make informed decisions regarding complex problems.
  • Monitor the health of the product, proactively identifying risks and implications to timelines, and leading the resolution of cross-functional issues.
  • Work closely with internal and external teams to identify and pursue broader business opportunities associated with the app store product offering.
  • Understand and monitor the competitive landscape on both iOS and Android
  • Support go-to-market initiatives and BizDev/Sales teams in evangelizing and selling GamesHub into and through Carrier and OEM partners

About You:

  • Extensive experience in a leadership role overseeing the full lifecycle product management of app store products, including successfully launching and managing quality commercial projects/products within budget and timelines.
  • In-depth knowledge of app store ecosystems, and mobile games on both Android and iOS platforms, and a strong track record of building and launching products that depend on APIs, SDKs, and engage key stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Proven expertise in app store management, including familiarity with app store policies, guidelines, optimization techniques, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated success in driving user engagement within app stores through notifications, content programming and targeting, audience segmentation, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Strong background in UX and UI, collaborating closely with in-house design and research teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
  • Technical mindset and ability to navigate complex system interdependencies, devise implementation strategies, and refine scope based on technical considerations.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills, with a data-driven mindset and proficiency in leveraging data to inform decision-making. Experience with tools like Google Analytics, Big Query, and Firebase is highly desirable.
  • Excellent partnership, communication, and presentation skills, with a successful history of influencing and inspiring cross-functional teams and senior executives and internal & external stakeholders to deliver against multi-track roadmaps.
  • Proactive attitude, ability to create structure in ambiguity, and a strong track record of achieving desired outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic, and time-sensitive environment.
  • Proficient in Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies, with the ability to adapt and lead teams effectively in different project environments.
  • 12+ years of experience in Product Management / Leadership roles

As the Director of Product Management for GamesHub, you will play a pivotal role in leading the strategic direction of our app store product, leveraging your expertise in app store management, user engagement, and product lifecycle management. Your leadership and collaborative skills will be instrumental in driving the growth and success of the product and contributing to the overall business objectives.
