Your Team

As a Director, Strategic Initiatives in the Technology Transformation team , you will serve as a leader, mentor , and guide for other team members on t he Employee Technology Experience team . While not accountable for day-to-day management of a team, you will play an ongoing coach role for the team, as well as serve as a role model for improving technology capabilities and driv ing exceptional experience through the lens of the employee. In addition to leadership, expertise , and experience , you will bring excellent problem solving, communication , and collaboration skills, along with agile ways of working, strong business insight, an inclusive leadership demeanor and a continuous learning focus to all that you do.

Here is what you can expect in a typical day

  • Leverage unique perspective based on employee experience expertise, insight into other in-flight employee facing changes, and external knowledge to guide and influence peers’ decision making, prioritization, and business outcomes

  • Build and present compelling and insightful data-driven presentations to business partners, driving the employee experience priorities and agenda through a combination of data, examples, and storytelling

  • Develop and effectively execute creative change management campaigns to engage employees and drive adoption and awareness of new technology features across the enterprise , with a focus on continuous improvement and evolution

  • Lead environment scans and employee sensing sessions to gather candid and real-time feedback regarding the employee technology experience

  • Serve as the "Voice of the Employee" by thoughtfully engaging and, when appropriate, challenging leaders to maintain an "outside-in" perspective and mindset with employee persona development , journey mapping , research, and employee feedback .

  • Drive business impact and adoption to gauge employee satisfaction, productivity, collaboration, and engagement, and measure regularly by d evelo ping and maintain ing key performance and value indicators

  • Lead a matrixed network of enterprise change champions to drive adoption and awareness of technology enhancements

  • Remain current with technology/experience trends and infusing external perspective

  • Ensure efforts are aligned at all levels by c ommunicat ing frequently with technology business and corporate partners and leaders

  • Drive tangible outcomes by focus ing on execution , l everag ing solid technical skills, and active stakeholder management

  • Manage interdependencies, milestones, risks, buy-in and understanding of Global Technology’s integrated employee technology strategy

The Skills & Expertise You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience required

  • Ability to lead independently with minimal guidance and efficiently leverage diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts, and perspectives to the benefit of the organization

  • Experience with agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD)

  • Knowledge of business concepts, tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business

  • Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an ongoing basis through self-initiative and solving challenges

  • Excellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills

  • C ommunication and persuasion skills; ability to communicate complex messages, visualization , and creating insights from data to deliver practical recommendations for employee technology experience improvements .

  • Consultative nature, with a consistent track record of using data to drive quantifiable business outcomes.

  • Proven relationship building and collaboration skills; ability to influence and drive outcomes; ability to influence a diverse group of partners including small to large teams of technical experts.

  • Creative , persisten t , and resilien t ; strategic problem solver with and ability to thrive with and inspire change while navigating ambiguity.

  • Exhibits critical thinking capabilities, strong execution, and accountability for outcomes.

  • Ability to balance tactical short-term needs with strategic direction and priorities.

  • Lead and effectively leverage diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts, and perspectives to the benefit of the organization.

  • Experience working in global organization s is a plus

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $144,500.00 to $195,500.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
