This role would be accountable to continuously evolve the Scrum Team's Agile maturity and to drive efficiency while working closely with product owners and technical resources across the enterprise.As a Scrum Master, you will be at the forefront of driving culture shift and shaping how we work, learn and innovate. As our area continues to move through a transformation into high-performing product-centric teams, your focus will be to enable and coach agile behaviors which support optimal delivery.The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, have superior verbal and written communication skills, strong relationship management skills, ability to support multiple product teams concurrently, able to work independently and can maintain professionalism under pressure.How You'll Do It- Responsible for facilitating all Scrum ceremonies, such as Daily Standup, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review and Sprint Retro, in addition to collecting and providing relevant data and metrics- Act as Servant Leader. Drives team discussion & collaboration, coaching agile principles and the continuous improvement mindset in addition to helping manage impediment removal by working closely with other teams and impacted stakeholders- Attends Scrum of Scrum meetings as needed to synchronize across teams and resolve blockers- Facilitates Sprint release planning with Product Manager, Product Owner and stakeholders to determine the features, its sequence and expected timeline. Assists Product Manager, Product Owner roles with on-going backlog refinement- Ensures sprint releases stay on track and updates sprint activities in agile planning and execution tracking tool. Assist with status reporting, team metrics, sprint accomplishments and opportunities, in addition to socializing current risks and issues- Partners with others in the DNA and Discover Agile communities (Scrum Masters, APMs and Agile Coaches) to drive technology-focused teams towards achieving Agile principles- Coaches the team to own and continually improve their process and practices. Driving teams to improve agility practices and become more self-organizingQualifications You'll NeedThe Basics- Bachelors - Computer Science, Business Administration & Management, or related- 4+ Years - Agile Practice or relatedPhysical And Cognitive Requirements- Primarily remain in a stationary position.- Occasionally move about the work environment to complete the major responsibilities of the job.- Primarily performed indoors in an office setting.- Ability to communicate verbally.; Ability to communicate in written form.Bonus Points If You Have- Agile practice related Certifications a plus (CSM, CSP-SM, SAFe, PSM, etc.)- Strong background with JIRA, MIRO- Broad knowledge of DevOps, automation principles and supporting technologies (ideally Chef, Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, Jenkins, etc.)- Value Delivery Focused- Experience working for a large, highly sophisticated organization- Excellent communication (oral and written), organizational, and interpersonal skills- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities- Strong ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language- Skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environmentDiscover will not sponsor or transfer employment work visas for this position.
