Finance Coordinator – Zeeland, Michigan


DISHER is currently seeking a Finance Coordinator to join our Business Operations team in Zeeland, Michigan. In this role you will get to make an impact in our Accounts Payable and project billing areas of the business. Your team works closely with engineers and other professionals to ensure smooth coordination of business operations in our office of 130+ people.

What you'll get to do:
  • Accounts Receivable: Project billing, sending customer invoices, customer deposit tracking, and customer credit checks as needed
  • Accounts Payable: Vendor invoices, employee expense reports, company credit cards, bill payment, maintaining AP Aging, and preparing 1099’s 
  • Spending plan tracking and reporting
  • Support capital requests and tracking
  • Assist with month end and year end reconciliations 
  • Support continuous improvements
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls


What will make you successful:
  • An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required  
  • Working knowledge of GAAP
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office products specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills 
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and vendors 
  • Experience working with confidential materials 
  • Excellent attention to detail and professionalism 
  • Team-based and creative approach to work 
  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to multitask and prioritize 
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the business and adjust your work to reflect them
  • Experience with ERP is a plus, particularly Salesforce & Certinia 
  • Must have the current and continuing right to work in the United States of America without sponsorship
