As a Service Specialist working with group insurance, you will put you passion for compassion to work. Be a part of our front-line support for our policyholders, brokers, and group office personnel. You will be responsible for timely answers, ranging from general product inquiries to plan implementation, enrollment, and billing specifics. You'll thoughtfully apply your product knowledge to best understand the customers' needs and deliver personalized solutions. WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Hourly Wage: $18.75-$27.30, plus annual bonus opportunity
  • Remote opportunity
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Regular associates receive 9 paid holidays in 2023.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 56 hours of personal time in 2023, prorated based on the start date.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Determine the intent of policyholders, brokers, and group office inquires regarding implementation, enrollment, and billing and accurately respond by investigating, analyzing and resolving all questions and concerns to meet customer expectations
  • Review and analyze all data submitted and, when necessary, initiate calls to policyholders and brokers to obtain missing information to to clarify questions to ensure proper handing on the front-end.
  • Train and/or provide explanations to policyholders and brokers on billings, enrollments, procedures, and other business processing when needed to ensure efficient and effective service.
  • Provide excellent service recovery, to include turning complaint/error situations into an advantage and using every contact as an opportunity to provide a positive customer experience.
  • Develop and maintain lasting and effective working relationships with both internal and external business partners to further the department's vision and goals.

  • Knowledge of group insurance products
  • Attention to detail & ability to make sound, justified decisions
  • Organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask effectively, work under pressure, meet deadline requirements and be flexible to meet changing customer needs.

  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.



VALUABLE EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong background in contract language
  • Bachelor’s degree
