What you'll do We are looking for a self-motivated, driven and creative Lead Software Engineer to collaborate with the on-site reliability team. Metrics and analytics drive engineering at Docusign and ensures that we are dedicating valuable engineering cycles to the right places. This high visibility role is a unique opportunity to impact the entire Docusign team and drive adoption. The Engineer to work with a 24/7 operations team to take on challenging top tier escalations and perform data-driven engineering and architecture. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Director, SRE, Observability & DOC. Responsibility • Build and automate tools for impact analysis • Work with Operations and Incident Command teams during and post incidents to drive excellence in Incident Management Process • Compose and Analyze dashboard to highlight areas of the business that need attention and help drive organizational KPI • Work across public cloud and bare metal datacenters • Be a horizontal expert in all key technologies in Docusign and a partner to Eng and Operations teams Job Designation Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time. Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic • BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience • 12+ years of experience delivering highly available services in a DevOps team, SRE role, or similar role including on-call rotations • 6+ years of experience coding and debugging • Experience in monitoring and telemetry tools • Experience in building dashboards and metrics analysis • Experience with deploy and automation frameworks (Chef, Jenkins, etc) Preferred • Software testing and measurement for performance and scale • Experience in at least one of: Python, Powershell, C#, R, or Java • Experience with imaging and deployment technologies (DISM, VHDx, etc) • Experience with Windows Identity and Security fundamentals • Experience managing servers at scale (Windows or Linux) Wage Transparency Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations: California: $171,500.00 - $277,025.00 base salary Illinois and Colorado: $164,800.00 - $232,750.00 base salary Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $164,800.00 - $242,225.00 base salary Washington DC: $171,500 - $242,225 base salary This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
