This role is based in Chicago and we are open to candidates in other U.S. locations.

About the role:

Our B2B2C virtual fundraising platform combined with our made-to-order approach to popcorn production means feature prioritization, scope, and effective execution of new feature development are critical to the overall customer journey and company operations.

As a Group Product Manager, you will serve as a player-coach focused on owning the product development lifecycle for a key product area for Double Good’s flagship product and coaching associate product managers and product analysts on best product practices. This includes driving the strategy, planning and execution of a domain based product roadmap.

  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with business goals and customer needs
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new product opportunities and improve existing offerings
  • Define and prioritize product roadmap initiatives based on customer feedback, market trends, and business objectives
  • Manage large-scale, cross functional product and process innovation projects from discovery to delivery 
  • Effectively communicate plans and outcomes across the organization and with top executives and manage expectations 
  • Mentor high performing associate product managers and analysts, fostering a culture of excellence
  • Contribute to creating a learning culture dedicated to constant improvement
  • Facilitate strategic planning workshops
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces 
  • Drive execution against plan, anticipating risk, and lead discussion via clear communication
  • Define, monitor and measure product metrics and KPIs to drive data-driven decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new opportunities aligning with Double Good strategy for enhanced user engagement 

Nice to have and/or you’ll learn: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, HCI or other applicable degree is preferred; may substitute applicable work experience with Business Analyst or Product Management competencies and subject matter expertise
  • 7 years of experience as a product manager
  • Experience in building and managing high performance teams; prior people management experience is preferred
  • Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills, conveying complex concepts clearly 
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop impactful go-to-market strategies
  • Experience leading company-wide initiatives with diverse stakeholders and executive visibility, and managing products through the full lifecycle
  • Strong analytical skills and an affinity for data (familiarity with SQL and/or behavioral data analytics tools preferred)
  • Ability to build alignment and buy in across teams through servant leadership and strong data driven decision making 
  • Skills to distill complex situations into actionable plans
