The role will align to Dow's Design Your Day approach and allows employees flexibility by choosing when to work remotely and when to attend on-site activities based on project work and role needs.About you and this roleThe Enterprise Change and Portfolio Management Team is looking to hire an IT and Digital Communication and Change Specialist. In this role, you will support the creation and implementation of change and communication plans to facilitate the company’s digital transformation initiatives and the integration of evolving technologies across the enterprise. This role will have an emphasis on communication activities such as writing, reviewing, branding, and supporting the IT communication strategy. You will leverage the Dow Connect platform and other communication channels to share meaningful IT messages and content with employees. You will have the opportunity to be creative with words, graphics, and video creation. Your focus will be to enhance the employee experience by helping them understand changes and enhancements as it relates IT and Digital initiatives.You will be part of a team of change and communication experts who collaborate to learn and share best practices, ideas, and strategies. The scope of work will align with IT Services and IT Digital initiatives.Responsibilities• Assists in developing and implementing change and communication plans to support IT projects and digital initiatives• Creates and implements communication and video campaigns that help drive awareness and knowledge of IT and digital capabilities and deployment of new or changing technologies• Collaborates with technical teams to understand the technical change and translate them into clear, non-technical language for various audiences• Maintains communication guidelines and brand voice to ensure consistency across messages• Supports the development and implementation of communication and change management plans to facilitate the adoption of new technology and processes• Engages with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and coordination throughout the communication and change lifecycle• Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of the IT communication strategy, making continuous improvements based on feedback and lessons learned• Stays up to date on IT Service and Digital roadmaps and emerging technologies to plan for communication and change across the organization• Continues to remain educated and up to date on communication and change management tools, methodologies, and best practicesQualifications• A minimum of a bachelor's degree, or 5 years of relevant experience, or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 ranking or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant• A minimum of 2 years of relevant communication and/or change management experience• A minimum requirement for this U.S.-based position is the ability to work legally in the United States.
