About The Role:
As an Accounting Manager at Dsquares, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily financial operations of the company. You will play a key role in managing and leading the accounting team, as well as ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions and reports. In addition, you will collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the accounting team, including assigning tasks, providing guidance and feedback, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Manage all aspects of financial transactions, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of tax filings and other statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial support and guidance.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend action plans.
- Stay updated with accounting regulations and best practices.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team to meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in the loyalty programs industry is a plus.
