Position can be US based Remote.
As an Associate Platform Developer supporting ServiceNow, you will support activities for development and customizations on "the platform", including coding, unit testing, building applications, and creating or modifying existing applications.
What You Will Do:

Supports activities related to design, development and implementation of technical solutions in accordance with requirements provided by the business and/or other areas within the IT organization.

Applies industry best practices to address and review system requirements, business processes, changing development and technology environments

Assists with creation of new functionality to modify and extend existing apps using appropriate technologies.

Assists in conducting quality assurance testing and quality assurance practices to deliver IT services that meet requirements, work as planned and integrate with other IT services.

Supports execution to business requirements and helps identify risks in the development process.

Performs root cause analysis for any technical application issues.
-
Applies technical understanding to execute upgrades and implementation of future phases of application.

Supports documentation preparation of the development and functioning of operational systems including technical reports and instructional manuals.

Provides training and support for designated customers with guidance from higher level peers or leaders. Supports projects, conducts internal and external meetings as needed

Follows internal best practices as directed.

Meets budget and schedule commitments, as well as communicate project status to all levels of management.

Ensures performance measurements are met in all elements Portfolio including development, delivery, operations, SLAs, and customer service.
- Learns and begins to understand capabilities and constraints of the platform and how to maximize their value in our applications and tools

Identifies opportunities for system and process improvements.

Handles simple projects or participates in medium to large projects related to platform development and prioritizes as needed.

May be required to provide on-call support during off-hours.

What You Will Need:

Bachelor’s degree OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 4 years of IT experience.

Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
What Will Set You Apart:
-
Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of IT experience; OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 6 years of IT experience.

Familiar with REST/SOAP API functions.
-
Experience as a ServiceNow Developer
-
Experience with ITOM, ITIL modules, SPM and CMDB Modules and their integrations
-
Expertise in ServiceNow development, including UI policies, business rules, client scripts, and workflows.

Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, and scripting in ServiceNow.
Compensation:
-
Hiring Salary Range Posted: $60,300 - $100,400
-
Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
