We are building a highly-advanced low Earth orbit (LEO) space system that will fundamentally change the design, economics, manufacturing and service delivery associated with traditional satellite and terrestrial IoT systems.We’re intentional, we’re unapologetically curious and we’re 100% committed to innovate space-based communications and deliver actionable intelligence that will expand global economies, protect space and our planet and enhance our overall quality of life.What you will do:• Develop schematics, select components based on datasheet analysis, and oversee the layout of complex multilayer PCBs.• Tradeoff across manufacturing, testing, thermal management, performance, reliability, and battery life to optimize design decisions.• Bring-up prototypes, verify functionality, and debug and resolve functional and performance issues.• Develop manufacturing test plan, identify and resolve manufacturing issues, feeding improvements back into the design and production process to ensure readiness for high-volume manufacturing.• Plan and maintain detailed project schedules, regularly updating stakeholders on key issues and timelines.What you bring to this role:• Over 10 years of experience in consumer electronics or related industries.• More than 10 years of experience in mobile or wearable system design, circuit design, and board bring-up.• Deep hands-on experience with hardware bring-up, debugging, and functional verification.• Proven track record of successfully launching new products to market$0 - $0 a yearThis is a full time, exempt position, based out of our Saratoga office. The target base pay for this position is $100,000 - $200,000 annually. The total compensation packaged will be determined by various factors such as your relevant job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.We are redefining how satellites are designed, manufactured and used—so we’re looking for candidates with passion, deep knowledge and direct experience on LEO satellite component development, design and in-orbit activities.
