Job Description

  • Part-time (flexible) ongoing position – work from home, our offices & within the community

  • $96,000 - $110,000 (subject to qualifications & experience) + super + generous Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18,550

Join our dedicated team providing NDIS Childhood Intervention Services for children with disabilities or developmental delays up to age nine. As a Psychologist Grade 2, you will play a vital role in assessing and delivering evidence-based interventions to support the developmental needs of children and empower their families. Your services will take place in natural settings, including homes, childcare facilities, kindergartens, and schools.

In this role, you will identify goals, develop therapeutic strategies, and lead group programs while working collaboratively within a transdisciplinary team. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by using a coaching approach to enhance the skills of parents and educators. Your responsibilities will also include making appropriate referrals, participating in professional development, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

About you
To excel in this role, you will demonstrate the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • A Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and current unrestricted registration with AHPRA
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in evidence-based assessment and intervention techniques
  • Familiarity with the Key Worker model, Family Centred Practice, and Family Service Coordination

Experience working with vulnerable and culturally diverse families is highly valued, as is an understanding of the issues confronting families with children with developmental delays and disabilities.
