OST Program Assistant: 2024-2025

East Harlem Tutorial Program is looking for a Program Assistant to support instructional staff and assist in program management. Ideal candidates are dedicated to youth development, have experience in after-school environments, and are committed to racial equity and educational success.

Skills

Experience in after-school and summer camp environments
Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Forms)
Familiarity with Dean’s List and PowerSchool is a plus

Responsibilities

Support instructional staff in creating positive, youth-centered classrooms and program culture
Assist with end-of-trimester showcase projects
Manage attendance and program transitions
Provide class coverage as needed
Ensure scholar safety during meals and activities
Support operations and program managers during trips and experiences

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
