Instruction will be in a lecture with laboratoryincluded format related to Information Technology (IT)infrastructure, cloud technology foundations, computer networkhardware or software, client/server systems. The successfulcandidate(s) will teach classes at the Richmond, KY campus to amaximum of 9 credit hours per semester, on an as-neededbasis.A Master of Science (MS) Degree is required in Technology,Technology Management, Cyber Systems, Computer Electronics,Engineering, Computer/Management Information Systems, or a relatedfield, with at least 18 credit hours in the target field, at thegraduate level. Degree(s) must be from a regionally (SACS, MiddleStates, North Central, etc.) accredited and recognizedinstitution.The ideal candidate(s) bring their IT industry experiences relatedto managing computer network infrastructure into our lab-basedclassrooms and are eager to share their enthusiasm for IT byengaging students in hands-on laboratory activities andprojects.Professional certifications related to IT, including computernetworking systems, cloud technologies, cyber security, wireless,virtualization, client-server technologies, network management,Linux and open-source systems, computer electronics fromorganizations such as CompTIA, Amazon, Cisco, Microsoft, andGoogle, are desirable.The selected candidates are expected to demonstrate effectivecommunication and interpersonal skills with undergraduate studentsand the university community.Minimum QualificationsEducation: A Master of Science Degree is requiredin Technology, Technology Management, Cyber Systems, ComputerElectronics, Engineering, Computer/Management Information Systemsor a related field, with at least 18 credit hours in the targetfield, at the graduate level.
