Your Opportunity with ECG: Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)
Reporting directly to the CEO, ECG is seeking an experienced leader who will be (a) responsible for enhancing and executing programs that advance ECG’s commitment to DEI internally, and (b) available to apply DEI principles and approaches to health equity-related client engagements. This position will be highly visible within the organization, and will work directly with partners, consulting, and corporate operations leaders. You will be committed to building inclusive cultures and supporting the development of top talent. You are an outcomes-oriented professional and will play a pivotal role in aligning our DEI endeavors with our business goals and objectives. You will collaborate with key internal stakeholders to advance our vision of building a diverse organization where every employee feels included, supported, and empowered to succeed.
What You Bring To The Team
• The ability to enhance and execute a comprehensive DEI strategy aligned with company goals and objectives
• Experience with the design of DEI programs, including workforce training, workshops, and employee resource groups (ERGs)
• Success with the creation and implementation of practices and policies that support DEI in recruitment, retention, and the overall employee experience
• Proficiency with the collection, analysis, and reporting of DEI key performance indicators
• Knowledge and expertise that may be called upon on an as-needed basis for client engagements that include elements of health equity
Your Responsibilities May Include
• Create and implement policies and practices that promote DEI in recruitment, hiring, promotion, and retention.
• Serve as subject matter expert for DEI training programs, internal committees, ERGs and occasionally client engagements.
• Enhance and execute DEI programs.
• Promote awareness about and understanding of DEI through events, communications, and initiatives.
• Collaborate with HR and other corporate operations departments to integrate DEI into onboarding, talent development, and employee engagement.
• Collect, analyze, and report on DEI data to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and inform future initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to DEI.
• Use data-driven insights to recommend and implement improvements to DEI programs and strategies.
Our Expectations of You
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, organizational development, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR, or a related area, including a minimum of three years of experience with progressive responsibility developing, implementing, and enhancing DEI initiatives
• Strong understanding of DEI principles, practices, and legal requirements
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and build relationships at all levels of the organization
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and present data effectively
• Experience with change management and organizational development
• Certification in diversity and inclusion is a plus
• Experience with professional services firm is a plus
Travel: Some domestic travel (10%-20%) may be required for internal meetings or conferences.

The estimated base salary range for this job is $135,000 - $150,000 annually. It represents a good faith estimate of the range that ECG reasonably expects to pay at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to years of experience, special skills, and market changes. This job is eligible to participate in ECG's annual discretionary incentive compensation program, which reflects ECG's pay-for-performance philosophy. The job is also eligible to participate in ECG’s benefit plans, which includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, unlimited PTO, and other wellness programs.
