Job Summary of Facilities Operations Manager:
EchoStar is looking for a proficient and seasoned Senior Manager - Facilities to become part of our Hughes Network Systems team at our main office. This position plays a crucial role in guaranteeing the effective functioning and upkeep of our facilities, adhering to safety protocols, and overseeing various sites. The selected individual will supervise numerous facilities management tasks and maintain a secure and productive workspace.Job Duties and Responsibilities of Facilities Operations Manager:• Develop protocols and guidelines for the workplace to ensure continuous service delivery through proactive strategies.• Collaborate with internal Safety Teams to guarantee adherence to State and Federal guidelines such as OSHA, EPA, and HAZMAT regulations.• Manage round-the-clock operations and maintenance tasks for buildings and facilities.• Establish and carry out routine checks on buildings and outdoor areas to evaluate maintenance requirements and ensure the well-being of staff.• Keep security measures intact and uphold the general upkeep of the site's appearance.• Grounds management involves the upkeep and preservation of outdoor spaces, such as removing snow and tending to plants.• Develop and manage the department's budget, overseeing the procurement of essential supplies and equipment.• Oversee and supervise outsourced projects to ensure adherence to requirements and timelines.• Draft construction specifications, evaluate contract proposals, and present suggestions for approval.• Handle agreements with suppliers for cleaning and upkeep tasks.• Present the website in both internal and external meetings, offering operational statistics to the leadership team.• Employ, educate, and oversee staff members in various branches.Qualifications and Experience of Facilities Operations Manager:• Possession of a Bachelor's Degree or a comparable blend of academic qualifications and professional background.• With a decade and a half of expertise in building upkeep, this individual possesses skills in various areas such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), electrical systems, fire suppression, and overall maintenance.• A decade of expertise overseeing a variety of extensive facilities including office spaces, data centers, laboratories, and manufacturing facilities.• Possession of a Master Electrical or Master HVAC/R license is required.• Availability around the clock, capability to lift at least 50 pounds, and willingness to work in diverse settings are required.Benefits of Facilities Operations Manager:• Salary commensurate with the level of experience.• Qualification for a discretionary bonus contingent on the overall success of the organization.• Inclusive benefits bundle, comprising medical, dental, and pension options.• Opportunities to advance in one's career and enhance personal development.• A work environment that promotes a culture of support while prioritizing the safety and welfare of employees.Salary:• The initial salary is competitive and based on the level of experience and qualifications.About Company:EchoStar, a prominent satellite communication solutions provider on a worldwide scale, is deeply committed to utilizing cutting-edge technology to facilitate connections among individuals and enterprises.
