Job Summary:EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for a Sr Manager - Satellite Terminal Hardware Design in our Hughes Network Systems division. This role involves managing the development and delivery of advanced user terminal solutions for satellite and terrestrial IP-based communications systems.Responsibilities:• Manage technical development and project management for advanced user terminal solutions.• Lead and direct a cross-functional engineering team to integrate hardware, software, and network technology.• Establish project objectives, specifications, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and contingency plans.• Oversee all aspects of the project life cycle from concept to delivery.• Coordinate across multiple corporate functions including business operations and manufacturing.• Serve as the technical customer interface.• Ensure timely and cost-effective accomplishment of contractual commitments.Qualifications and Experience:• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.• 10+ years of experience in hardware development of satellite and terrestrial IP-based user terminal architectures and systems.• 5+ years leading cross-functional engineering teams on design and development projects.• Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.• Knowledge of baseband, RF, antenna, and electronic packaging technologies.• Project management experience, preferably with formal training or equivalent (PMP certification).Benefits:• Competitive salary with eligibility for discretionary bonuses based on company performance.• Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and retirement plans.• Opportunities for professional growth and development.• Supportive work environment focused on innovation and collaboration.Salary:• Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.About Company:EchoStar is a leading global provider of satellite communication solutions, dedicated to delivering broadband connectivity everywhere.
