Being an OSHC educator holds a lot of flexibility to prioritise study or family needs, and at the Y, you might just discover a family of your own – we have a supportive team on the ground and at head office.
What being an OSHC Educator Entails
OSHC educators care for children before school, after school and during school holiday periods. Highlights include running fascinating, fun-filled and educational activities with primary school children – such as science experiments, outdoor games and painting.

The YMCA Everleigh Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is situated next to the family’s car park and drop and go at Everleigh State School. We are occupying some beautiful and fresh rooms within the Hall.
The service we provide at YMCA Everleigh OSHC includes:
At The Y Everleigh we will be supporting our children with Homework Club offered on the day homework is given to children by their Teachers. This will help those busy families get a head start for the week. Please note this is an option and we will be providing a quiet space for them if they wish to complete homework under encouraging supervision.
Starting July 2022 The Y Everleigh would like to introduce some working groups to encourage children to contribute to keeping our world beautiful and resourceful through sustainability and recycling. We would like our children to learn new skills such as musical and drama talents.
