The EHSSQ Specialist provides the Security expertise and support for the Mobile site. This individual is responsible for the physical security of the site and ensuring the electronic access system for the site is managed properly. The EHSSQ Specialist is responsible for maintaining compliance for all regulatory requirements relative to security. This position requires the employee to be designated as the Facility Security Officer and contact for the Coast Guard under MARSEC regulations. The EHSSQ Specialist is responsible for managing the contract security force (approximately 20).
RESPONSIBILITIES
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ensure that site security is to level of industry standards and compliance with all applicable agencies and corporate standards.
  • Maintain documentation related to the function.
  • Maintain all of the physical Security assets.
  • Manage projects related to Security upgrades.
  • Update Visitor Videos and Check-in process for the site
  • Manage an effective contract security operation and maintain all security systems.
  • Maintain the DETER / EMI processes. Includes liaison with Shift Safety Supervisors.
  • Train personnel in the NA Region related to DETER and EMI
  • Evaluate compliance training requirements with line management.
  • Reduction in TRR to benchmark level of industry leader.
  • Support the ESH Services North America Region for training and security.
This position requires either a degree in Occupational Health & Safety or similar degree or 5 years of Health, Safety, and / or Security experience.
This position requires training, organization, and communication skills. Written materials are developed for plant wide and regional use.
